PayPal is a popular payment processor that also offers merchants the ability to use a shopping cart on their Website. This allows customers to send and collect payments in a secure fashion online. You can also as a merchant accept all major credit cards using PayPal including Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express. You can also accept bank transfers, and PayPal eChecks as payment from your customers. As a Website owner you can also accept using donations, recurring payments and also subscriptions.

If you go to other merchant accounts or payment processors you will be required to have a credit card submitted in order to have an account with them, PayPal does not require this. There are no monthly fees to use it as your shopping cart solution. PayPal instead of having a monthly fee will take a small percentage of each transaction conducted.

PayPal gives Website owner’s choices when it comes to opening an account.
If you are a business, than the premier or business account is your best option.

Having Paypal as your payment processor means that when a customer pays for a product or service, you receive the money into your PayPal account as soon as the buyer pays. The only time money is not received instantly by you when a customer makes a payment using PayPal is when the customer selects eChecks or bank transfer as their method of payment.

As a merchant using Paypal’s business account you can get a PayPal MasterCard that works directly with your account, much like a bank debit card does. As you can see there are many benefits in addition to the shopping cart ones for choosing PayPal as your shopping cart provider.

Having a Paypal shopping cart allows you to easily keep your business account separate from your personal account.

Using PayPal’s shopping cart means your customers can purchase multiple items with a single payment. They can easily browse through your Website, and view all the items they have placed in the PayPal shopping cart before hitting the pay now button.

Promoting business branding online is similar and yet different from typical marketing strategies. Therefore, you have to make unique approach to this method of promoting your business brand. And yet, the benefits of using web tools in making your brand distinct include the ability to maximize your business efforts and expanding your business’ reach. After all, it only makes sense to extend your branding efforts to the internet given the fact that most people nowadays use the internet as their source of daily information.

There are five major areas that you need to address when developing a strong business brand online.

URL Address

This is a crucial determiner for web browsers. Therefore, you must be able to produce a sense of identity for your website and provide a glimpse into your company even before they get the opportunity to see what your website is really about.

Keywords

The keywords are essential to help search engines connect you to the proper audience. Use keywords that are related to the nature of your website, so that it can be easily detected when people run a search on the internet. Try to be creative in coming up with keywords to use, especially those queries not directly related but associated to your business.

Website

This is where you get to showcase your company’s vision and your offer of quality products or services. Therefore, you must create a website that speaks for your brand. There are several ways to do that, which includes the content, style, design, and color. You must also incorporate your company logo in the design of the website, to enhance the level of trust and confidence on the consumers to your website. Therefore, you must refrain from compromising the substance of your website for style. A website is just another form of marketing strategy and its objective is to communicate your company’s message.

Weblog

Your blog is basically where you focus on producing quality content. This will help establish your company’s brand as something that is of authority to sell a given service or product. There are several spammers that infiltrate the online community, so you have to separate yourself from them. You can do this by remaining consistent with your vision and highlighting your focus on producing a quality brand.

Social Profiles

There are several social networking sites online such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, among others. When you join any one of these social sites, always include your company signature or brand representative such as a logo. This will help visitors to easily remember your company and be on top of their list.

Business Branding Online Do’s and Dont’s

• Utilizing social network sites that you are interested in as an avenue to promote your brand online is beneficial for your business. Here, you can make connections and expand the reach of your brand. Getting more people into your page will produce major brand building traffic into your site.
• Just write useful and quality content on your site. When people begin to realize the importance of your site’s content, it will eventually impact your performance on search engines.
• Try to offer advice or solution to the needs of the people. But refrain from spamming since it would basically ruin your business’ reputation.
Business branding online has expanded the reach of your branding efforts to produce a more promising growth for your company.

Social Networking Can Help Your Business

The objective of social networking is to allow members who have the same interest to communicate with one another. With so many of them around, why not take advantage of it because this is a tool that can make promoting your business easier.

Social networking sites are a gold mine because you get to promote your product without having to pay for advertising. Studies show that people who know you are more receptive to a familiar face rather than saying yes to someone they just met.

To get started, the first thing you have to do is become a member of a social network. There are hundreds of them around and once you sign up, you should create profile page which tells people who you are.

Since most social networking sites allow you to personalize your webpage, make use of it by putting your company logo, a picture of yourself and your company profile. To sell yourself, talk about your experiences of being in the business.
If the site has a section that allows you to post blogs and bulletins, maximize it by showing what products or services you currently have and maybe a preview of what is in store in the future.
For those who already have their own website, put a link through the social network so people who want to know more will be able to directly gain access to it.

Another thing you shouldn’t forget to do is visit other forums within the social network. This will enable you to find out what others are taking about. Who knows? It’s possible that another member has a problem and you are the answer to their prayers. It is also possible that the information from the forum will give you ideas so you can add new products.

Since you want your customers to become part of your client base, it is important that you maintain quality in your products and services. This will let others know about whom you are and maybe even start to spread by word of mouth from them talking about how good they like your product or service.

To add revenue to your business, you may want to allow other businesses to advertise in your webpage for a small fee.

The best way to get the most out of social networking sites is to advertise your products in more than just one way. So you don’t waste your time, you should do research as to which ones are frequented by most people. If this is too general, try to look for a social network that specializes in whatever business or service you are offering.
From there, you build up your image and hope that in time, you will have a regular client base that will give you a steady flow of income every month.

Social networking can help your business and the best part is that it is free to join and there are no additional costs to maintain your membership.
Why is it free? Because companies who maintain these social networking sites know that it is counterproductive to charge fees from their members when they can get more money from companies who engage in online advertising in their sites.
Just remember, like any other business, the use of social networking is not the backbone of your business but merely something that can help attract additional revenue and it’s free to use.

You Build Your List to Build Your Business

It is a strange thing but sometimes new Internet marketers lose sight of the object of building an opt-in list. They can get so caught up in expanding their opt-in lists that they lose sight of the obvious. You build an opt-in list for the purpose of building your business. Building the list isn’t the main objective. A list with only 10 names and email addresses is 10 times more valuable if you make ten sales than a list with 10,000 names on it that you make one sale to. Quality is more important than quantity when you are talking about opt-in list names and email addresses.

There really are only three basic rules for building a list that will build your business and that, after all, is the objective.

Rule #1: Ask! Ask the members of your existing list what they want. Ask them what kind of information that will best serve their purposes and then provide what they ask for. People love to be asked for their opinions. It makes them feel valuable and the fact is that they and their opinions really are valuable to you.

Rule #2: Don’t over-do it! You may want to stay in constant touch with your opt-in list but they will not like too much contact. I have just recently removed myself from a mailing list that did provide me with some excellent information but three emails a day was a distraction and an interruption…so I opted out. Keep your enthusiasm in check, and try to only send a maximum of one e-mail a day unless special circumstances arise requiring more.

Rule #3: Know the members of your list. Knowing who the members of your list are will help you to gather names and email addresses of like-minded individuals. These like-minded individuals will build your list, as well as, build your business. Never be afraid to ask your list to recommend you to their friends and co-workers, or to others who share their passion for your niche. ‘Know other tennis enthusiasts? Blogging Tips on What You Should Do or Not Do

Maintaining a blog in the long run is a bit difficult especially if you want to have a successful on-line business from it. You can actually find blogging platforms for free online and most of the platforms are simple to use. Even a technophobic writer can use such blogging platforms but it is difficult to find qualities like originality, enthusiasm, creativity, patience, and spare time.
Many people who tried writing blogs had initially high passions for blogging but after some time, they neglected their blogs until it finally dies. There are only a few bloggers who maintain weekly posts for a large number of subscribers. If you want to know their secrets to maintaining successful blogs for many years, just read on.

The first one is to write only about the things you know and love. Never write about something that you hardly know of and what you don’t like. Most individuals who want to write blogs often choose topics that are of great interest to other people, and of course, themselves. Make sure that you choose a topic that you’re interested and eliminate those that you don’t like, even if the topic is said to generate more traffic. As long as you’re passionate about the topic, go on and write a blog about it.
When you’re writing a blog, make sure that you have a new, funny, and smart insight. If you’re about to write something that was already written by other bloggers, stop writing about it and instead, try to think about a new and better idea or insight. Choose another topic instead.

The next helpful tip is to be creative. As always, creativity is very important in maintaining successful blogs. Once you’ve posted a certain idea, don’t repeat it all over again. Adapting fresh ideas of other bloggers is definitely not a good idea. If you want to gain the loyalty of your subscribers, you must always try to be original in every blog you write. This way, your loyal subscribers will stay hooked on the blogs you make.
It is also good if you always consider your readers. Your blogs are like featured columns and so you must update at least weekly. Try to add new posts so that you will not be forgotten. If in case you can’t write new posts, try to inform your readers.

Try to socialize with the readers. You can encourage them to take an active part in your blog by adding polls and asking questions. They will be more than glad to add personal comments. If you want to improve your blogging skills, you must also read the blogs of other bloggers.

As Internet marketers, we all know that building a list is a must for us to be able to have success. Also we need a list to sell our services or products to. However, most people have no clue on how important blogging is to do just that.

On the Internet we all have a targeted audience we are trying to reach. Better yet, we want to get that traffic to follow us and opt-in to our list… correct? If you don’t have a following, the traffic to your site will be next to nothing and your information or product you want to get out will not be seen or sold.

With all the ways on the Internet to get targeted traffic to your site, I feel that most Internet Marketers don’t take blogging as serious as they should. When blogging is done correctly, it is one of the most powerful tools to get people to opt-in to your list, make sales and get your information out to the people.

Would you agree that advertising is the one thing on the Internet that most people, not all, don’t want to get when surfing the web? Well, with blogs you are advertising your information or product without giving the red flags of advertising. People want information when they are on the Internet. With blogs you give them exactly what they want, targeted information on what they are seeking. However, at the same time you are advertising for your service or product without them realizing you are advertising to them.

This is why more Internet Marketers need to take the blog thing a little more seriously. It works!

With regular advertising, people can’t leave a comment about your product or service. With a blog they can. You can look at this two ways; first, when people leave comments, you get to see firsthand what people think about your product or service. Second, you can use the comments to fix what it is they are not seeing from your words that would make them want to opt-in or buy. You can use the comments to change your wording so more people understand what it is you are offering them. This should lead to and possibly make quicker sales along with building your list. Can you see why blogging should be an important tool to use?

I hope that I have been able to help you see why List Building and Sales from Blogging is a bigger issue than most people think. With that in mind…I hope your blogs brings in the people and sales of your deepest desires.

Every Internet marketing guru there is will tell you that list building is the most important part of Internet marketing. Many of these Internet marketing gurus go into excruciating details about the importance of list building. Sometimes they are long on the ‘why’ and short on the ‘how’ but you can find a lot of good information on the Internet itself about how to build your opt-in list.

There are about five basic concepts to master:

1. Your opt-in box needs to be positioned on your page so that it is easy to see. There should be an opt-in box on every page of your website and it shouldn’t be at the bottom of any page. Opt-in boxes that are effective are placed at the top left or top right under your header graphic, if you use one. Either way, it should ALWAYS be available without scrolling down at all.

2. You have to give your website visitors an incentive for signing up for your opt-in list. People don’t just hand out their names and email addresses readily and you must give them a good enough reason to sign up. A free report, e-book, audio or video can work well for this.

3. Promotion is a vital part of building an opt-in list. Advertising pays. It has always paid and it always will. Sometimes you have to pay for advertising but there are ways to get free advertising. Either way…you are going to have to promote your opt-in list

4. Use your own expertise to build your list. Join blogs or forums and prove to the other posters that you know what you are talking about. Credibility builds opt-in lists.

5. Use joint ventures or joint venture give-a-ways to build your list. Remember that you have to give in order to receive and what you need to receive is more members of your opt-in list.

Obviously there’s more than that to building a large li9st, but those 5 basics will take you a fair way towards your online goals – get started on your list-building today.
